The road out of the St George district

St George is the shortest run on our whole map. Transfers from Hurstville, Kogarah, Bexley, Mortdale, Oatley and the surrounding suburbs join the M5 East and come off at General Holmes Drive, which delivers you directly into the airport precinct. Distances sit between about 10 and 18 km, so these are quick trips, but General Holmes Drive and the M5 East approach are heavily used and can slow badly at peak, which is why we still time the pickup against your flight rather than the distance.

What a St George shuttle bus costs, suburb by suburb

Across the St George district the fixed one-way fare to Sydney Airport runs from $79 to $149, and the spread reflects distance rather than demand. A sedan carrying one to four passengers is priced between $79 and $119 depending on the suburb, a minivan for five or six between $99 and $129, and a bus for seven to eleven between $109 and $149. Those figures include tolls, fuel and airport fees. The only additions are a 1.8% surcharge if you choose to pay by card, and $10 on top of the equivalent airport fare if you are travelling to a cruise terminal instead. A group of seven to eleven travels together in one shuttle bus rather than being split across two cars. You pay the driver at the end of the trip, so nothing is charged when you book.

What makes the St George district different to drive

Being this close to the airport changes what a transfer is for. Nobody in Hurstville books a shuttle because the drive is difficult; they book it because they want a confirmed car at 4am, a driver who will handle four suitcases, and a price that does not triple when everyone else wants a car at the same time. Short trips are the ones demand-priced services most often decline or surge hardest on.

The district is also close to both cruise terminals. White Bay and the Overseas Passenger Terminal at Circular Quay are straightforward runs from St George, and a cruise transfer is priced at ten dollars above the equivalent airport fare, so a family heading to an embarkation with a full set of luggage knows the cost before the day.

St George covers a mix of older established streets and river suburbs. Kogarah's hospital precinct and Hurstville's commercial centre generate regular business and medical travel, while Oatley, Connells Point, Lugarno and the Georges River suburbs are quieter residential streets where parking is tight and the driver benefits from a specific pickup point agreed in advance.

Western Sydney International from the St George district

Western Sydney International at Badgerys Creek opens to passengers on 25 October 2026 and we will run transfers from the first day. From the St George district the drive to WSI is roughly 40–42 km, about 45–47 minutes, against 10–18 km to Kingsford Smith. WSI fares are quoted individually because the distances are so different from the Kingsford Smith run.

Cruise terminals

Cruise passengers are covered on the same basis. From the St George district the Overseas Passenger Terminal at Circular Quay is about 14–22 km and White Bay is about 13–21 km. A cruise transfer is priced at $10 above the equivalent airport fare for your suburb and vehicle, and we time the pickup to your boarding window rather than a flight.

How a booking works

Booking works the same way everywhere in the region. Tell us the pickup address, the date and your flight number. We confirm a fixed price and an exact pickup time, worked back from the flight so you reach the terminal roughly two hours before an international departure and 75 to 90 minutes before a domestic one.
