What makes Blacktown different to drive

This is one of the largest and fastest-growing districts on our map, and the spread of distances inside it is wider than people expect: roughly 38 km from the Prospect end to about 50 km up at Riverstone. The northern growth corridor around Marsden Park, Schofields, Riverstone and Box Hill has expanded quickly, and new estates there frequently have poor early-morning rideshare coverage despite being full of travellers.

The M7 and M4 combination gives Blacktown a fast run to both airports. Kingsford Smith is a straightforward motorway trip, and Western Sydney International is closer again, sitting a modest run down the M7 corridor. When WSI opens on 25 October 2026 many Blacktown households will find it the shorter option for domestic travel.

Blacktown also produces a lot of group and family travel, and that is where a fixed fare shows its value. Western Sydney International from Blacktown

Western Sydney International at Badgerys Creek opens to passengers on 25 October 2026 and we will run transfers from the first day. From Blacktown the drive to WSI is roughly 22–26 km, about 24–28 minutes, against 38–50 km to Kingsford Smith. WSI fares are quoted individually because the distances are so different from the Kingsford Smith run.

Cruise terminals
