Your Blue Mountains airport transfer, explained

How we drive from Blue Mountains to the airport

We drive via the Great Western Highway to the M4 and WestConnex toward the airport — roughly 95 km from Blue Mountains to Sydney (Kingsford Smith) Airport, around 92 minutes when the roads are clear. Mountain weather, fog and highway roadworks can affect timing, so we allow generous extra time. Every terminal is covered by our fixed-price Sydney Airport transfers — T1, T2 and T3.

What time should you leave Blue Mountains?

Leave-time is our most common question. We plan for you to reach the terminal roughly two hours ahead of an international flight and 75–90 minutes ahead of a domestic one. So from Blue Mountains, a 6:00 AM international departure usually means a pickup near 2:28 AM, while an 8:00 AM flight is closer to 4:28 AM — drive time, check-in and a safety margin all included. Give us the flight time and we’ll lock the pickup to the minute.

Early-morning & late-night Blue Mountains transfers

Day or night, we’re available every day of the year. Whether it’s a 3 AM start from Blue Mountains or a midnight landing, your driver is ready and waiting — and there’s no late-night surcharge, just the one fixed fare whatever the hour.

Coming home: airport to Blue Mountains

For the trip back we watch your flight in real time and have the driver ready whenever you touch down. They message you on landing, meet you at the terminal pick-up point, handle your luggage and drive you non-stop to your door in Blue Mountains — no queueing for a cab, no detours for other passengers.

Travelling with children

Travelling with little ones? We can supply infant capsules, child seats and boosters on request — let us know the children’s ages at booking and the correct restraint is installed before pickup in Blue Mountains.

Luggage & oversized items

Standard bags are covered by the fixed fare. We size the vehicle to the luggage, not just the seats: a sedan takes 2 travellers with a checked bag and carry-on each, a 7-seat SUV covers 3–4, a people mover 5–6, and the maxi shuttle bus 7–11. Carrying golf clubs, skis or a pram? Mention it and we’ll send the right vehicle.

Groups, corporate & cruise

For larger parties from Blue Mountains our vans handle up to 11 in one private vehicle. Business travellers can book a corporate shuttle or a premium chauffeur service with account options, and we run cruise transfers to Circular Quay (OPT) and White Bay. Explore Katoomba & Blue Mountains transfers or our full fleet.

Hotel & accommodation transfers

Staying at a hotel? We provide door-to-door pickups and drop-offs at hotels, motels and serviced apartments across Blue Mountains and the broader Blue Mountains area, scheduled around your flight or check-out time so nothing feels hurried.

Wedding & function-centre transport

Heading to a wedding, function or corporate event around Blue Mountains? Our clean, presentable vehicles carry your group to venues and function centres across the Blue Mountains region, with airport pickups for visiting guests too — all priced up front.

Local & point-to-point trips

Airports aren’t all we do. Around Blue Mountains we also run point-to-point trips — to stations, hospital and medical appointments, events and nights out — using the same private vehicles at a fixed price.

Western Sydney International (WSI) at Badgerys Creek opens to passengers on 25 October 2026. Our WSI fares are published now and we run WSI transfers from day one.

Where we meet you

Coming home to Blue Mountains: where to meet your driver

After you land, switch your phone on — your Blue Mountains driver messages you to coordinate the exact spot. Here's where to head at each terminal.

T1 · International

Exit Terminal 1 and head to the P7 parking building directly in front of you. Go inside and follow the signs to the Rideshare Pickup Area (left side inside P7). Maximum waiting time: 60 minutes after the plane lands.

T2 · Domestic (Jetstar, Virgin)

Exit T2 arrivals, cross toward the P1 walkway, take the first right at the 'Priority & Express Pick-up' sign and follow the covered walkway to the Priority Pick-up area, then contact your driver. Maximum waiting time: 40 minutes after the plane lands.

T3 · Domestic (Qantas)

Exit T3 arrivals, cross the traffic lights, continue along the P1 walkway and take the first left to the Priority Pick-up area, then contact your driver. Maximum waiting time: 40 minutes after the plane lands.

Please keep your phone switched on after landing so we can reach you. Extra waiting time beyond that may incur additional fees and can also result in cancellation of the service. If you think you will need longer — a slow bag, immigration queues, travelling with children — tell us in advance and we will build it into the booking.

Payment & booking

Blue Mountains airport transfer FAQs

How much is an airport shuttle from Blue Mountains?

Blue Mountains transfers are fixed-price from $229 one-way for 1–4 passengers in a sedan, up to $279 for up to 11 passengers in our bus. Cruise transfers are $10 more. No surge and no surprises — the quote is the price you pay, plus 1.8% if you pay by card.

How long is the drive from Blue Mountains to Sydney Airport?

Roughly 95 km and around 92 minutes in normal conditions, via the Great Western Highway to the M4 and WestConnex toward the airport. We watch your flight and build in a traffic buffer so timing is never tight.

What time should I leave Blue Mountains for my flight?

For a 6:00 AM flight we usually collect around 2:28 AM, and for an 8:00 AM flight around 4:28 AM. Send us your flight time and we’ll confirm the exact pickup, aiming to have you at the terminal ~2 hours before international and ~90 minutes before domestic departures.

Do you service Western Sydney Airport (WSI) from Blue Mountains?

WSI opens to passengers on 25 October 2026 and we will run transfers from day one. WSI sits about 52 km (~55 min) from Blue Mountains; given how near it is we price each WSI trip on its own — request a quick quote for the keenest rate.

Do you offer door-to-door pickup in Blue Mountains?

Yes, it’s fully door-to-door: we collect at any address in Blue Mountains and the wider Blue Mountains area and drive you direct to the terminal — never any detours to pick up others.

What happens if my flight is delayed?

No problem — we monitor your flight live and shift the pickup to match, with no fee for reasonable delays. Your driver is waiting in arrivals whenever you touch down.

Can you provide child or baby seats?

We can — capsules, child seats and boosters are on request. Note the children’s ages at booking and the right restraint is installed before pickup in Blue Mountains.

How much luggage can I bring?

Your bags are covered by the fixed price, and we size the vehicle to the luggage rather than just the seats. A sedan comfortably takes 2 travellers with a checked bag and a carry-on each; 3–4 travel in a 7-seat SUV, 5–6 in a people mover, and 7–11 in the maxi shuttle bus. Let us know about oversized items (golf clubs, skis, prams) and we’ll send the right vehicle.

Do you run a shuttle bus for groups from Blue Mountains?

Yes. For seven to eleven passengers we send a shuttle bus rather than splitting you across two cars, so a group from Blue Mountains travels to Sydney Airport together with room for everyone's luggage. It is still a private booking, not a shared timetabled service, and the fare is fixed before you travel.

Can I book a return trip back to Blue Mountains?

Absolutely. Book both legs at once and we’ll monitor your return flight and meet you at arrivals. A return is simply two fixed one-way fares — no premium for booking both.

How and when do I pay?

Payment is to the driver on the day — nothing upfront to reserve. We take Card (EFTPOS, +1.8% surcharge), Cash and PayID, with digital / QR receipts on request. The quote already includes tolls, fuel and airport fees — no extras.

How far in advance should I book?

Aim to book 24–48 hours ahead so your preferred vehicle is secured, especially for larger 7–11 parties or peak-season trips from Blue Mountains. Last-minute? Call us — we’ll help if a vehicle is available.

Which suburbs near Blue Mountains do you cover?

As well as Blue Mountains, we cover Katoomba, Leura, Springwood, Blackheath, Wentworth Falls, Blaxland, Mount Victoria and Bullaburra and the broader Blue Mountains region — and right across Greater Sydney.
